Has any one have any experiences beside "community" sewer systems?

I am buying a new house and it have one, just wondering if it is biddable or bad, or how does it work?

Answers:    It can come and go a good bit. One knob factor is how is it financed and who has control.

We live contained by the suburbs of large city for over 20 years and we have a local utility district that provided water and sewer service. The district be owned by our subdivision and controlled by our subdivision. There were utility bonds that covered the income costs and we paid monthly for the other costs.

It works vastly well.

I enjoy heard of other systems that are not owned and controlled by the users and the results can be angelic to very thoroughly poor.

If the users own and have control it is more possible to be satisfactory. Otherwise it is a crap shoot.
Community sewer systems are adjectives that I have ever prearranged, living near Chicago adjectives my life. Seriously, I have a sneaking suspicion that septic tanks are so grotesque. Anyway, what do you want to know? I have never have a problem...the stuff goes down and it never comes rear and I never have to see it again and I never hold to have it pumped or anything the "septics" have to enjoy done.
