yes there are many answers and remedies u can get ............ there are various insecticides in the market that u can get ..........ok ......but i will tell u what i have found the best and easy ..................do u know "turmeric" a type of additive or a spice added when vegetables are cooked ...........it is a yellow powder available in market ............u can get it any where.........
just sprinkle this powder dry were ever u find ants in ur house in corners , crevices and see the effect..................this is simple no danger of poisioning as with any other insecticides............

regular old chalk. i dont know what it is that does it, but draw chalk line in and outside of your door, and right on the threshhold, they wont come in. originally it was chinese chalk, one day i tried regular chalk, and drew a circle around some ants and they stayed in the circle. good luck!!

There is a couple of things you can do to stop them from getting in.
One is a bug spray designed for ants and spiders or you can use cayan powder.
either one you use will work by spreading it all around the house inside and out. all around doors around and behind appliances, anywhere that looks like they get in at.
Also use ant traps to get the ones that cant get out after you use either one of these things.
1. Turn on ur LPG Regulator after removing connection tube
2. Wait for 1 Hr.
3. Put some sparkles
It is the best idea for keeping ants away.....if ants remains there, u will not be there for seeing that.....................
I sprinkled flour at my doorway & no more ants. they wont cross over flour. Also spray vinegar around and lastly try sprinkling borax around the outside of your house it will also kill weeds
Take a bucket full of nettle. Pour warm water on them. Let it cook for 1-2 h. Use spray bottle or gun to spread liquid 1-2 meter around your house. You still have those inside the house as a problem but their "cousins" are not paying visits or settle in. Natural method which works pretty well on lot of noxious insects too when sprayed on apples etc,.
Sorry to tell you this but your best option is to attract them. I don't know where you are but in Australia we have a product called ANT RID. You sprinkle it around where the ants are coming from. They love it and take it back to the nest, thus killing the whole colony.

Use TERRO it works great. They eat it then take it back to there nest and kill the entire ant colony including the queen. you can buy it at walmart and hardware stores. They also sell a granular that can be sprinkled 5 feet around the house to make a barrier against the ants and other pests.
