Anyone know how to make an "aquapack" for flowers without spilling water everywhere?

Take the stuff out of an "unused" disposable diaper and put it in the container of flowers. Ever seen a kid in a pool with a diaper on? Amazing how much water those things hold.

they sell those gel that expands and holds water to keep plants wet. It is very easy to use and spillage is minimal...they are just little jello like balls.
