Do cobwebs add 'character' to a room?

Like OMG, my neighbor has the BIGGEST BESTEST cobwebs in the ENTIRE world. For real, we are getting the Guineas Book of World Records out here soon. These things are so big they have been known to catch small children.
Actually, I HATE cobwebs. It drives me nuts. There is an odd reality about Cobwebs however. If your cobwebs are dirty or any color other then white, it means you have a draft there. They can come in handy when winterizing your house. Just look for the dusty cobwebs and that is where the draft is. I still HATE them tho. Bad cobwebs, bad.
