how do you get rid of mosquitoes larvae in standing water when it cannot get drained?

we have a pool cover that has water laying in it.is there a pesticide that i can buy in a store that will take care of the problem pronto?thanks.

chlorine..it wont hurt the pool, but will kill the mosquitoes
Toss in a couple goldfish. They eat the larvae.
I think I would use a normal household chemical such as a bleach solution.
The method that has always worked for me and is environmentally friendly is to pour some cooking oil in the water, it suffocates the larvae.
Some cooking oil,they can't breath if they can't get to the surface,the oil stays on top and their "mouths" won't go through the oil,there are commercial pellets that kill them too but oils clean up better and wont harm the pool
