Get a bag of rock salt, and spread it around the base of the tree. Water liberally, until the salt starts soaking into the root system, and it will kill the tree! I use this method on plants and trees that I dont want... (But, be careful not to get it around other things you DO want, as salt doesnt discriminate, it will kill ANYTHING!).

A poison called Tordon. Cut into the bark and squirt into the cuts. Make about 10 cuts evenly around the trunk. The tree will slowly die causing dead branches to fall onto your car....so killing this tree isn't really a top idea anyway.
You either chop it down or build a car shelter of some sort.
