I wish to paint & brighten up clay pots what type of paint should I use?
Answers:
Use a paint and sealer which are water-resistant. I don't know of any specific brands, but any hobby/craft store will direct you.
Also, if the pots have holes in the bottom and if you use the disks to collect drain water, make sure you only paint down to the water's edge. Otherwise the paint will constantly be in water.
Good luck with your pots...I bet they'll look great!

I have a hunter green / beige Country kitchen and my Salt and Pepper shakers sit in clay pots that i painted using just regular old Acrylic craft paint... i painted them 5 years ago, and the paint is still fab (i broke one of them but that is unrelated heh heh) However acrylic paint on them makes them feel the same as they did before you painted them, if you were planning to keep them outside i would get an Acrylic paint/craft sealer (about 5.00 -7.00 @ Michael's crafts stores)
