Are Water Bugs just water roaches and how do I get rid of them.?

Water bugs like dark damp places. If they're coming from a basement, try a dehumidifier and a bug spray. If they're coming from outside the house, spray all around the base of the house with a commercial product. I sprayed all around the outside of my house with bleach a few years ago and haven't had a bug since. Good luck.
