What is the minimum square footage of a bedroom?

Answers:    Depends on the jurisdiction you live in. In most cases it's a minimum of 100 sq. ft. excluding the closet. There may also other requirements contained by order to be considered a bedroom. Some of these can be a closet requirement, finances of egress, access not directly from garage and others.
I don't reason there is a code for square footage of a bedroom, but you'll find 10x10 to be fairly small, and if you can afford the space, I wouldn't go any smaller than that. Once you put surrounded by a bed, and a dresser, most of your room will be used up. adding in recent times 1 foot in both directions give you 21% more space, and going up 2 feet surrounded by both direction adds 44% to your room, if you get the space to do it.
