HELP! I have a million ants in my house, how do I get rid of them?

Answers:
Believe it or not, Windex kills ants. After killing the visible ants in the house, spray a light mist around the area that they are coming in. You just have to remember to refresh the area after shampooing or washing. It really does work.

Other answers:
Line your walls with bug spray.
Ants leave scent trails for their colony to follow to get to food. Wash your floors to remove them.
Clean your filthy home.

ant venom
Kill 3 queens!
Exterminators
Call your local exterminator or pest control. I had a problem with teramites and I called the exterminator and I do not have a problem with any pests anymore! Hope this helps!
exterminator
Bug spray but if not Windex there little buts out of there!!
First, stop counting them, and then call a exterminator.
stop them where they come in, at your foundation.
Try ant traps. You can get them at any of the mart-grocery-harware stores.
Call pest control - sounds like you have a nest of two!

One nest = MILLIONS of ants!
get an ardvark
have a picnic
tell them to leave
bug spray duh.
Genocide is your only answer.
Get a million "UNCLES"
get the Terro Ant Poison -- the Liquid traps.
you set them out and leave them there for a few days.
the ants eat it (be careful not to kill them after they eat it!) and take it back to their nest and then BAM! they are all gone. It's great stuff. Worked for me, I swear by this stuff.
WOW...million??? did you really count them???...ok sry...i have no idea what to do...
ask them to leace nicely and if they dont you'll have to "persuade" them to go...........
This is from personal experience. The weather stripping on our doors are terrible, so we have had many vermon sneak their way in. We had ants once and we just figured out where they were entering and then set out those Contact ant motels. Kind of like roach motels, but for ants. They worked within a couple days and I haven't seen an ant since.
Put up a "POSTED KEEP OUT " sign
Attack them at there source. Get some lawn ant killer from the store and treat your lawn. Then use combat ant traps at the sight of the ants in the house.
Hmmmm, tell them all that you're tired of them staying there and mooching off you. They won't be pleased, but hey, at least they now know that they can't push you around and eat your food and sleep on your couch.
Vinegar and water in a spray bottle! Also baby powder helps they can't breath when they walk through it.
I have a great tip. Once you get rid of the ants currently in your house, just place common, household black pepper across any entryways/windows. The ants seemed to be turned off by the smell of the pepper, so the problem should resolve.
DDT seems to work well, but a harmless alternative is "Bioganic" by Green Light. It is an organic blend of plant and tree oils that kills ants by blocking specific neural pathways that do not exist in mammals or birds.

Ants also hate boric acid (Borax).
Spray trail with ammonia. Ammonia kills the scent. Ants fallow each others scent. Buy some Taro syrup and place in the trails outside.
use a vacuum cleaner and suck then into the vacuum cleaner bag. they, the ants will be stuck there in the bag, but you won't be a murderer and kill them. and you won't pollute the air with chemicals. it is the environmental way to get rid of the pesky ants. are they the small Argentina ants? right or do you live in the tropics where the ants are an inch long. if so you might have a problem with the vacuum cleaner. or get an ant eater, aardvark
Go to Lowe's Hardware and they have some traps that attract ants. They get in and feast and cannot get out. You may also try spraying outside along the foundation with a concertrate liquid.
The quick method is "Raid". Spray around doors, window sills.
Never leave any food out especially a half filled soft drink, or a tiny piece of pork. I haven't seen an ate in sometime until I brought home to babaque and dropped a piece on the floor. The next morning it was unreal. I had mine professionally done and did not see the first ant for about three years. I think it is about time for another call. Cost about $75.00
