Uswitch takes commission from their recommendation they give you - usually biased. Put it this opening British gas are the dearest in the country. BUT I'm next to them, and they have frozen my vigour prices since 2005..
i'm with edf enjoy no problem with them; i own changed a few times now scottish power are biddable, and npower are pretty good.
Don't shift with a local supplier as they are other the most expensive. Have a look at http://www.uswitch.com/ to get the cheapest rate.
I moved over to EDF for both gas and electric, and it is the best move I enjoy ever made. At first I was'nt sure how to go give or take a few swapping until I came across moneysupermarket.com and did a comparison of the other gas and electric suppliers.

USwitch - we moved to EDF concluding year - just done an annual check for money - EDF still the cheapest for us.
