Whats the best way to kill mice so they dont die and smell in the house?

Answers:
There is a product called JUST ONE BITE. It is a small green pellet that is labeled as a rat killer, but it works for mice. It causes the mice to get very thirsty, so they usually go outside to die. However, if they cannot make it out of the house, they dry from the inside out and do not stink. In less than a week, you will get some relief from the nocturnal critters. In 2 weeks they are gone.

Look for this product at feed stores, hardware stores, and small country stores. I once found the same product under a different name, so you might ask for "green pellets."

buy a snake and set it loose in your house. preferrably a non venomous snake since having a snake in your house runs the risk of you being bitten.

If possible put some rat killer (poison) under the house.Make sure it's away from where your pets can get to.
If you kill mice, then they will die.

Trap them instead and release them in a field somewhere.
Use a mouse trap, and check it every day.
a mouse trap or a pied piper.
get a cat or buy sticky traps from walmart
Are you asking how to kill mice so they don't die?
of are you asking how to make them die someplace else.

The best solution is DON'T KILL THEM. Just encourage them to leave. Actually mice are very intelligent and you could reason with them if you could communicate.

If you kill them, you will hae the problem that you want to avoid -- so encourage them to leave by creating a HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT. There are three good ways to create an environment hostile to mice - which will cause them to leave.

1) get one of those ultrasonic pest eliminators. They emit a sound, irritating to mice, but inaudible to humans, after a short while the mice will pack up and leave your house because they can't stand the ultrasonic sound and they can't turn it off - they really do work - make sure that you get one that is tuned for mice, not bugs or spiders.

2-3) the other two ways to create an environment hostile to mice are to get a cat, or to get a black snake. Both of these also work very well -- but you will have to learn to live with the cat or the snake (which may not be a better choice than living with the mouse - you decide)
Please don't hurt them. Use peppermint oil on some cotton balls. They do not like the smell. Poke it into some hiding spots or mouse holes. Good Luck
get a cat
you want believe this but my grandmother use to beat a mouse with a broom to scare it out side it worked for her but that was my granmother
they do make humane mouse traps that trap the mouse without killing it, you then realease it in a field FAR from the house.
