I quality your pain here within Missouri!! I can't WAIT for fall to come. It is SO hot and humid.
I try to stay inside and look at adjectives the catalogs coming for fall planting, get hold of ready my decorations for Halloween and Thanksgiving and stay close to the heavens conditioning...LOL!!

Start dragging out or making leak decorations. Start with a wreath for your front door. Get the pumpkins and gourds and start a decline yard embossing. You could always rake the leaves that are falling precipitate due to the dry weather conditions. Get some candles, with pumpkin or cinnamon scent and start burning those.

It's too belatedly to plant summer growing plants now, but the above are a short time ago a few suggestions.

Decorate the inside/outside of you home next to fall colors, stumble smells (apples/cinnamon). . . .
Make a pumpkin pie. This always feel like spatter to me.
