Wood stove pellets....ingredients?
BTW, I'm talking about ferrets.
Answers:
I work in a fireplace store, and I believe it's just compressed wood, but I tell you that kitty litter is a lot cheaper than wood pellets! (unless you have some just laying around that you wont use)
Other answers:
I'd stick with the newspaper based litters. Any woods, or dusty cat litters can cause SEVERE respitory problems in ANY small mammal. Aren't your babies worth it? I'm interested why you are going thru it so fast. You don't completely replace the litter every day, do you? You should always leave a little of the stinky litter in there...or like me-I scoop the poop and wet litter only-otherwise they'll start going elsewhere. Maybe that will help? Good luck!

1. you can get wood chips from a saw mill or use paper but use a shredder cut up the paper to wanted sizes
