I have ants in my car, how do I get rid of them with a kitchen item?

Answers:
Sprinkle Borax laundy stuff all over thei nside on the carpeting. The ones there will die and the others will not come in. They can touch it dfor some reason. Then vaccum as usual when the problem is over.

do you have any grenades in your kitchen?????
there are some ant killers traps available in the market. you can get those from a dollar store. try them.
mix black molasses with yeast
when they eat it they will explode from the yeast
ants do not like anything with soap in it.
With a little itsy-bitsy kitchen knife. Get 'em one at a time. I'm sorry, I could not resist that when you said with a kitchen item. This can be a real problem having ants in the car.

My first suggestion is to clean the car out completely. Food should never be in the car unless you are transporting groceries home. Drinks in the car (outside of water) are the worst, spills are a haven for ants (sugary sodas, sugary coffe drinks). Clean the car as best you can and perhaps spray lysol? I don't know what to tell you - I've never had this problem before - I have a no food eaten in my car rule. My cars stay clean, ants included.
After deep cleaning of the inside of your car to be sure no queen ant insided is the source of the infestestation.
you can put liquid soap. (some of the Scented laundry anti cling stuff works best) around the edges of the rug,
windex or lysol sprayed around the area of the infestation will kill the ants. Keep the window open for about an hour after spraying to keep the car from getting overpowering for you.
I had small ants in my home around my dogs dog dish. I heard that if you spinkle baby powder around the area, it keeps them from returning inside your home. Try it, it worked for me and I was amazed! Plus when the baby powder sits for a while, your car will also have a nice smell to it after you vacuum it.
Believe it or not, Windex kills ants. After killing the visible ants in the house, spray a light mist around the area that they are coming in. You just have to remember to refresh the area after shampooing or washing. It really does work.
