how to clean black pottery barn table?

My boss has a black table from pottery barn, it leaves fingerprints when you touch it and it gets dirty easily. i have tried different soap and cleaners on it but it takes the black off and leaves smears does anyone know a good cleaner to use???

those tables says to just dust and clean with mild cleaner so just a water rub down is good. Pledge will take off the finish
