how many gallons of water are in an 18 x 4 foot pool?
Answers:
You need another deminsion. You have Width and Length, but you also need depth. Once you have all three, multiply them ie. WxHxD = Volume in cubic feet. Then multiply the volume in cubic feet by 7.48 and that is how many gallons. This all is in assumption that your pool is rectangle.

I have an above the ground pool that I bought at Wal Mart. It is the hourglass looking pool and when it is full, is 5000 gallons. When I mix my chemicals to go in weekly, the local pool supplier says to add according to the 5000 gallons. Hope this helps
It depends on the height of the pool. For 48" tall, it would be 17,500. If it is 52" tall, then 18,900.
Since wall height is 4 feet by 18 feet around, we are not going to caculate it at 48" high, that would overflow.....
You Have exactly - taking into careful consideration your climate and evaporation, due to sun and heat
You have approx 7646.4 US Gallons
4x18x18x5.9= 7646.4
At a level of 3 1/2 feet (probable H20 Level) = 6690.6 gal
