Is it going to be a problem to deal with later if concrete was poured during rain?
Answers:
The rain will not effect the strenght of the concrete...
A light rain can actually "polish" the finish...
A harder rain will sometimes wash the "cement" away from the AGREGATE (rocks)....
So instead of a smooth finish.... you will have a rougher finish...
Similar to the concrete finish..... widely used around swimming pools... keeps people from slipping....

Yes, it is going to crack faster in couple of years. They have to know how much water is being used.

the rain won't hurt ;it will take it a little longer to dry that's it. you can take cement and dump in standing water hole and it will set even if the water is on it.
kConcrete should be kept moist for a couple of days after pouring for maximum hardness .Rain will not harm it except to mar the surface if a smooth troweled finish was put on shortly before it started raining. If the surface is okay, don't worry about the hardness.
