I get slugs coming into my house!?

They are attracted to moisture and rotting material. Your house needs to be inspected by a professional-ASAP. You may also have termites that you cannot see. While poisons may kill the critters, they will not solve your bigger problems. FYI, more organic methods of keeping than at bay include diatomaceous earth and copper flashing, which they will not cross.

That's really gross. Where do you live in a swamp? Leave a bowl of beer out. They are attracted to that and die. Also salt kills them instantly. But watch out the salt kills your plants. Done that....
first of all...eeeeeeeewwww...ok we used to use "Lilly Miller's Slug & Snail Bait" to keep them out of the garden, you could use a household poison, or maybe rock salt to help keep them out...or at least kinda die when they cross. I also heard that caffeinated coffee can kill slugs
But you may want to be careful with the repellents/poisons if there are other animals around...GOOD LUCK...they can be so gross and irritating
pour a line of salt over their trail - it will kill them fast. i would look for the source of them, and get rid of it fast!
