A fox built a nest under my utility shed. How can I discourage him from staying there?

If the fox already has cubs best to try and leave them until its time for them to move on they wont harm you I feel foxes have a raw deal and are always being hounded away ask your local animal shelter

There are a couple things you can do if you do not want to harm the fox. At PetsMart.com there are different scent granules you can buy that turns the fox away. Also you just place a couple small mouse traps where he has been digging. They wont wound him but they will scare it from coming back.
predator scat or feces from the zoo put a small ball of it in a cheese clothe and tie to a stick and put the stick near the shed and that scares everything away but moth balls and your pee could work pee a line around the shed in the night in africa the camera safaris all circle and walk out into the bsh and then pee everyone does ti to discourage the predators
try setting the nest on fire.
very simple get a rifle a 22 caliber or stronger or a shotgun any caliber should work with one of these guns take it and shoot the damn thing and it will be over,or sit around and wonder how to get rid of the thing! or you can let it live there ! IF YOU CANT SHOOT A GUN IN THE AREA YOU ARE AT THEN CALL ANIMAL CONTROLL THEY WILL COME OUT AND REMOVE THE ANIMAL>
