How do I change a stove, high voltage outlet into a common electrical outlet?

Answers:
you will need to do 2 things first find the breaker 220v one in the box it will be a double one then turn it off next change the outlet but don't use the red wire...only use the black(hot) and white(neutral) to the outlet and use the ground witch is green or bare wire cut the red or 3rd wire and cap it off with a wire nut or tape then in the breaker box remove the breaker now caution the breaker is off but the bar(copper) part is still hot if you want to be safe shut off the big main breaker first...then put in a single 20 amp 110v breaker and use the black wire on it the other wire (red) cut and cap just like in the outlet then the white should still be on the natural bar and the ground should be with the ground wires as it was now turn it all back on and test the outlet and you should be all set.
