How can I grow sweeter blueberries?
Answers:
I grow several varieties of blueberries. Make sure that your bushes are fertilized according to the needs of the species you have, and give them plenty of water while the berries are ripening.
The biggest reason people harvest berries that aren't as sweet as they expect is that they harvest them too soon. The maximum sweetness develops just before the berries go bad. Picking them too soon will get you a basket of tart tasting berries. Be selective in picking and deep picking the ripest berries as they ripen. Not all of the berries will reach maturity at the same time.
There is some truth to the idea that some hybridized berries have been developed more for size than for taste. I have found that smaller berries are the sweetest.
Good luck with your berries.

Acidic soil will do the trick, that is a fact.
Try feeding them, but it may not make a difference. It actually depends on th breed of blueberry bush. Some are sweeter than others.
Unfortunately, berries and fruits are now being bred for looks instead of flavor so you get really pretty big plump berrys that dont taste as good.
So the answer may be buy a new bush
