Why do some people hate spiders?
Answers:
Spiders are potent magick. Yep, spelled it with a K for a reason: to distinguish it from stage magic, slight of hand. Some people say it is the fear of the female, that revulsion associated with spiders. Obviously we all do not hate them. However, to have a spider drop on you unexpectedly activates a survival mechanism - the tickle reflex. We have in us a way of avoiding that which unexpectedly tickles us. Good thing. Spiders and other arachnids are mostly poisonoous. Some can lead to sickness and a very few to death.
I have been bitten twice now by Black Widows. The second time was like a bad case of the flu with arthritus in my joints, sun sensitivity, and really bad nightmares. Not something I ever wish to repeat. Just being in the sun a little caused my skin to feel like it was being set on fire. This went on for about two weeks after the bite.
I think spiders are very cool. If you go outside and mark off a square meter in open woodland then start counting the creatures you find, you will find more spiders than anything else. Spiders are great hunters. They are why we are not overrun by insects and sometimes by other spiders.
Keep studying spiders. You can learn a lot from them.

I think spiders are completely cool! They control vermin that are much more offensive, like flies and moths. Moreover, they do not make pests of themselves as flies or moths or roaches do. I don't know why there is an anti-spider subculture out there.

i don't hate them but i am scared to death if i face them! Even the fake ones.
I hate spiders more than anything in the world. When I was little, my mother used to sit me in this old cast iron tub while she got everything ready for my bath (clothes, towels, etc.). While sitting in the tub, a HUGE wolf spider crawled up from the drain. I was so terrified that I was screaming for my mother! SHAME ON HER! Until today, I cannot stand the sight of a spider.
My friend was riding her bicycle in the country one summer. She saw a large black herd of tarantulas crossing the road in front of her. Since then she has not been a huge fan of the spider either. Thus, I assume most people have had a really creepy experience with them! YUCK! I am grateful for people like you ~ so I have someone to kill them!
Spiders are one of the creepiest insects ever. They are just obnoxious. I can't stand them. If I see one, I have to find it & kill it or I can't rest until I do. I'm serious!:(
Usually cos they're legs are freaky-looking. At my old house, i sleep on the top bunk and there's a family of spiders living in a corner- i love them cos they keep the mosquitoes away! Honestly, roaches are way much more disgusting
i luv spiders. some people think all of them are dangerous, and some just think there creepy crawly cretures.
Maybe cuz they don't make noise. You only see them when you don't expect it--- and then you scream.
EEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKK!!...
bc they bite
there creepy
Because some can kill you & give you cancer.*
I have been bitten by a brown recluse and it is not fun...They are creepy. The don't "TRY" to bite us, usually it is our fault but they still freak me out.
Phobias abound. The same ones that kill spiders are always looking for ways to kill infestations of insects! Vicious cycle, isn't it? Oh well, takes all kinds.
Spiders have eight legs.
