If you don't want to use the cheap webbing (hardware store) that unravels and pokes at your skin, you could use canvas from a fabric store.

We found a one piece replacement seat/back for our aluminum lawn chair at Walmart. You layed in on and snapped it in several places around the aluminum frame. Its pretty comfortable and doesn't leave webbing marks on the back of your thighs.
