Yes there is, but usually the dorm provides the bed and you just have to find the longer sheets. You can find them at Penny's or Bed Bath & Beyond. Right now is a good time to look because everyone is selling dorm stuff. You'll also want to buy a mattress pad. The schools my kids went to didn't provide these.
If you still want to buy the bed, you can at most mattress stores. They're nice for skinny people over 6-feet tall. (But a double would be so much more comfortable.)

Extra long twin is a standard size of linen available everywhere sheets are sold. They are about 6 inches longer than standard twin so a fitted standard twin won't work.
