They are actually fruit flies that you have. Make sure you do not have any sugary items left out. Clean everything in the kitchen throughly, and if you keep your aluminum cans in the house, rinse them before you put them in the wastebasket. They are attracted to sugar, and if you don't get rid of what they are feeding on they will not leave.
