How long should the filter run each day on my above ground pool?

You must run it long enough to turn the pool water over twice. That means every gallon of water should be filtered two times per day. Lots of variables to this rule, though. Typically eight to twelve hours depending on the size of the pool and pool pump. Can't be more specific without more info.

two hours a day should be fine as long as the water is clear, you just want to keep it circulating & keep the chemicals working
Well, it depends on what the outside temperature is where you live. I live in louisiana, and it is getting above 90 degrees outside each day, so i would filter my pool 12-14 hours each day.
