How's the weather in Idaho?
I'm thinking about moving there, and going to grad school.
Thanks. 10 Points.
Answers:
Depends where you go.
SE Idaho is a bit extreme.
Winter- long and very, very cold. Used to live in Rexburg. Had snow from November to April.
Spring- kind of cold. A bit unpredictable. Can be cold one day and warm the next.
Summer- hot and dry. Temps at their highest are about 100F. Humidity is usually quite low.
Fall- don't remember. It seemed a bit unpredictable too.
SW Idaho (Boise area):
Winter- mild. If it snows (that's IF), the snow usually melts after a day or two. Can get foggy sometimes.
Spring- mild. Sometimes you get rain. Sometimes a bit windy. But it never snows.
Summer- hot and dry. Temps have been as high as 115F. Humidity is usually between 15 - 30%. Sometimes humidity is higher. Summer time can also bring smog if there is an inversion in the atmosphere.
Fall- Warm in September and first half of October. Then it gets colder.
South Central Idaho:
It's a mix between SW and SE Idaho.
