Anyone ever break down and buy a Kirby from the Kirby man?

We bought a Kirby from the sales man who came to our house. We NEVER intended on buying a vacuum that day and we never normally buy things from sales people. Also, he told us not to tell people how big of a deal we got on the vacuum. So if I can get 3 people to tell me how much they spent on theirs, I promise I will post how much I spent on mine.
And also, do you just LOVE it! I love my Kirby. I don't say I'm going to vacuum anymore, I say "I'm going to Kirby." I feel like I'm in a special club! :)
