two methods: 1, get poison to the moles, either bait, or run your car exhaust into a fresh mole hole
2, buy something similar to "The Destroyer" it is a smokebomb designed to be lit, and buring in the mole tunnel. (usually about 5 dollars for 4)
Contrary to popular belief, moles don't eat veggies, they eat bug grubs, but that doesn't stop their actions from disrupting a nice garden.

I hear that they can't abide the smell of mothballs. Pop a few down each run, dig them in round the edge of the lawn.
My boyfriend will srpay water into thier holes and they will run out another one, then he traps them in a box and 'deports' them. Then he packs their holes with dirt.
You can try the electronic repellers. I have put three out in my back yard because I had the same problem, having many acres of trees out back. Seems to be working so far for the last three years. Their not to cheap, around the 20 to 30 dollar range.

I have a tried and tested cure for the little buggers !! I lived in South Dakota for a number of years and the moles were destroying my vegetable garden ! Well I happened to hear a Paul Harvey news commentary one day and he stated that a college in Minneapolis stated that Juicy Fruit gum worked on them . The smell of the gum attracts them and when they eat it it plugs them up (for they are unable to digest the gum) and it kills them ! You have to dig down and find the mole hole , then you shove several sticks of gum in the hole then cover the hole up again . They will eat it and even carry it back to their nests . If new mounds reappear repeat the process , you may have more than one family . It worked for me so give it a try !! ( who woulda thought chewing gum worked!!)No poisons no problems !!
