What is the difference between pillowtop & plush mattresses?

The pillowtop mattress isn't designed to be flipped.
I personally close to the plush.
generally the plush have just added matter just underneath the covering, whereas the pillow top has a 1-2" integration above the mattress itself on both sides filled next to added material.
Mine make it soft like have a quilt under me. but it does label the fitted sheets a bit more difficult to put on as they are thicker top to bottom than the plush, and slightly more costly.
