What's the best road to obtain rid of gophers?

I don't want to use poison because that's just not unbelievably environmenty friendly. But those little buggers are ruining what little lawn I enjoy. Should I just sit melodiously with a 9 iron and skulk for them to pop up? I'm not a very apt golfer, so should I go for a sand block?

i'm afraid you will hold to use gopher smoke bombs. my dad used to use them all the time. they look resembling a stick of dynamite. just lighting it, and put it in the holes. cover it up next to dirt. or you could rent the movie "caddy shack" to see how much trouble bill murry had beside his gopher.
