If a house is 750 sq ft., is it worth it to incorporate an optional 75 sq. ft. by finishing an attic?

This is approx an additional 10% square footage.

How much importance could this add to my house?

Answers:    That would be a small space, possibly big enough for an organization or bathroom. Since the addition is contained by the attic that will cut out a lot of construction expenses. If you could preserve the price of construction at under $50.00 per square foot I would read aloud go for it. If it's a bathroom you'll own to spend a little more. I believe a finished bathroom would add $10,000 or more within value to you home. This depends on location and several other variables.
I believe it is worth it if the attic can be used as something (i.e. bedroom, office, playroom, etc). If you are only just finishing it to store boxes, then no. Create a use for it., especially since the home is small to start with. There is no channel to know HOW much value within $$$ it could add to your home until it is you enjoy it appraised.. There are too many factor involved to know for sure. Ultimately it comes down to an individual seeing the value contained by it. ("Beauty is in the eye of the beholder")
