Above ground pool??

ok so i have finally convinced my mom to catch an above ground pool. Its one of those pools that all you enjoy to do is blow it up. my mom mentioned it to my step dad and he said we would probably have to find a fence to shift around it and he doesnt want to pay for that. so i be wondering if there is an ohio tenet that says you enjoy to have a paling around your above ground pool. all of my siblings are excellent swimmers and they are not massively young so we wouldnt be putting it up for a saftey issue. I freshly need to know if it is categorically nessesary to get one and if in attendance is some rule or law that say you need one.

Answers:    In Ohio and most states the statute requires a six foot high blockade around a pool, in ground or above. It is for the protection of kids (and adults also) that may come onto you property and plummet into it or just lunge into it not know what they are doing. Even it they are illegally trespassing you are responsible. You should also let somebody know your insurance agent about the pool. You rates may turn up a little but if ANYONE should drown within your pool you could be sued big-time.
Enjoy!
i live in Ohio and by regulation in my county, you are required to hold a fence at lowest possible 6' away from the pool. But it may depend on what city/municipality you live in. The best bet is to contact your county zoning dept to determine if a barricade is required for that type of pool or not
