Ok so my aloe vera plant was really nourishing, until yesterday when i accidentally killed it. adjectives the leaves are going squishy and brown. i was wondering, if i took the leaves past its sell-by date, will the plant grow more or will it just die? will the underneath of the plant grow more leaves if i take the current leaves bad? please please reply asap xxx
Answers: depends on how you killed it. Usually if you remove the insensible leaves, new leaves will sprout, not from the frail base but from rhizomes on the roots.
aloe does not enjoy leaves--- it has stalks and stems,,,you can break the bad,,and plant them in some polite potting soil,,,keep em wet,,but not soggy wet,,,they sprout roots contained by couple weeks
