An amish stove..is it worth the money?? how does it work?
Answers: When we were living contained by Kansas City, my parents had one. They used it to heat their huge 2 story house. It worked fine for them. They did enjoy a propane furnace as a backup method of heating, just within case, but they never used it. They burned field corn within theirs. Got mildewed corn one time, really cheap cause they couldn't feed it to cows. They heated the 2500 sqft house for nearly $20 - $30 a month in the coldest part of winter that year. Theirs be not designed to cook on, so if that is what you need, I can't relief there.
Im sorry amish stove? do you mean wood burning stove? sorry I hold never heard it called that. anyway they are a affliction to cook on but we use one to heat our house as it is a lot cheaper(we use spirit efficient space heaters in the upstairs) anyway they are great if you enjoy someone who is physically able to cut a lot of wood!
