Answers: There's a few things you could do to spruce up that corner. You could put a silk plant or flowers on top of that corner shelf and/or use shelf paper or some textile to cover the shelf itself so the metal doesn't show. I'd replace the electrical outlet so it looks nicer, maybe even get a ornate outlet plate instead of the usual plain white one.
If you rent you may not be able to do this, but if you own I'd suggest some more decorative trim on the place between the counter and walls, conceivably paint or wallpaper the walls also.
It all really depends on your own personal tastes within decor. Good luck!
First keep the counter and walls clean. Give the wall a fresh coat of paint. That shelf is for inside a cabinet to use as a space depositor. If you want to decorate hang a picture on the wall and try a bowl of fruit or a pot of fresh flowers on the counter. smaller plates or bowls dammit
lmao. that's a sad little shelf. the outlet looks like it wants to be fixed. Maybe a potted plant, like an ivy. I think they liven up a room.
