Ants? Food? Help?

So we have quite the ant problem within a house my husband and I just moved into . . . thank goodness 2 of his family connections members work for pest control companies. We are going to have the house sprayed tomorrow darkness; last night we found ants INSIDE our bread and some other food items (*gags*). My ask is, will things like bread, crackers, chips, etc. go unpromising if you put them in the refrigerator? I don't want ants getting into any more of our food . . . sorry if that was a stupid grill lol.

Answers:    You may want to put those things in an airtight container instead of leaving them surrounded by opened bags. I cogitate bread does not taste as good once it is surrounded by the fridge. Tastes kind of dry. Not sure about chips and crackers but i'd meditate they would lose thier crispness.
I agree, put the food in air tight containers, the bread taste almost stale when put in the fridge. Also the chalk line does work! or conceivably move the food outside in a bin in the garage or something up to that time the spraying! Dont leave any food out in the expand
putting ur bread in the fride might make it variety of soggy
wrap ur food in air tight lots
hope tht helped
Draw a line of chalk around your food/cabinets, ants will not cross over chalk. It's safer than chemicals. I suppose the stuff may loose it's cripieness in the fridge
I use bay leaves ( the herb), available anywhere. Just place some surrounded by the cabinets and they repell ants and any insects.
