Anyone know of a tiny green fluorescent insect, not a firefly but much smaller and vivid neon green?

Have seen some of these inside my house at darkness. Cannot find any information on the internet. Any entomologists out there?

Answers:    firefly or lightning bug
YES! I own them to. The ones I have found fly, and I enjoy seen them contained by years past. I own no idea what they are, but we procure them in So. California and I know they aren't firefly's. The ones I enjoy do not resemble a fly so much they are longer, thinner and very diaphanous looking. You can almost see through them. I only remember seeing them within the spring, and I wonder if heavier rains bring them out more. I haven't see them in a few years. It'll be interesting to see you answers on this one!
