Are you disgusted by the culture on House Hunters?
As someone living in a dump, I'd be thrilled purely to HAVE countertops and cabinets within the kitchen, and I've heard of paint.
Has this struck anyone else or am I only just cranky? (Rephrase that to leave bad the cranky part - that go without saying).
Answers: Yeah some of these folks get on my nerves too. One guy I saw the other hours of darkness actually acted similar to he was repulsed by a paint color of one room. I be dude, don't have a hissy fit. Just run buy a $10 bucket of paint and paint it man. Geez!
On the other hand, if I have alot of money, I'd be picky too, but not about some of the stupid things that some of these inhabitants are picky about!
I can make out big ticket items not to everyone's taste but paint color...oh please...
And next there is the other show call 'moving up'. The seller think their taste is model and the buyer guts the place.
We all own our own likes and dislikes. Some things can be overlooked to see a daydream of our own.
I hear what your saying. Sometimes I newly cant believe how picky those people can be. But as someone who lately went through the house hunting process I can totally think through where they are coming from... I close-fisted if your going to be spending that much money you might as well try getting what you want.
