California earthquake insurance?
Answers: I have CA quake insurance and just just now discovered that you don't have to purchase it from the earthquake authority, there are in reality companies that sell better policies that cover more with lower deductibles. My policy is written by Pacific Select Property insurance and the premium is around $500 per year but I chose the lowest deductible near the highest coverage limits. Even so, I am getting more coverage beside a lower deductible and cost that I was with the EQA. They set aside many more choices for coverage and what can be covered than the EQA does, too.
