Can Direct TV install the dish on unattached garage?

We have a ton of trees backyard (southern sky) and I think the singular place to put a dish is on the garage, but it's unattached and about 20 yards from the house. Can it still be done?

Answers:    it possible, but they may own to run the wires underground. is there a way to attach the dish to your house instead
i have the same problem with the trees person in the way! they told me it would be ok and did it anyway, in a minute the tree in the park grew in and blocked my satellite, so i in a minute cant watch tv and stuck paying 80 more dollars for someone to come look at it! basically what im motto is directv will screw you over to make a buck! i am now contented with my comcast service. no satellites better channels and cheaper! you sure can/
Also ,,,you can put a wood or steel pole within the ground anywhere you want and attach the dish to that. It doesn't have to be very lofty up. Just enough to keep the snow rotten and the dog from pissing on it.
I've seen this done in various places
I would call Direct TV and ask them. They can only do what is allowed via the customer and the FCC. I suggest you check the wattage of the electricity within your garage. That may help with your answer.
