Can I build a Japanese Style House surrounded by adjectives...I live within Canada.?

I'm very much surrounded by love with the Japanese culture. Im even visit this summer for 2 months, and studying japanese.

I would love to one day build a Japanese house here contained by Canada.

Is that possible? Getting the materials? or is it even allowed?

I know that it gets cold here, but within North Japan they have even more difficult winters, which is why houses have those metal screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you know any sites that show you how? or any construction companies that do that?

Answers:    You can build anything you want as long as you have a permission and a good architect who have studied Japanese architecture. I'm also pretty sure if you pay any flawless architect they will build you whatever you want. Authentic materials would more than feasible have to be import but I'm sure you've already thought of that.
