Can I buy a riser block for a Hitachi CB 13F Band saw and where on earth? I live surrounded by Akron, Ohio.?

I want to buy a band saw that I can resaw lumber to used on my scroll saw. I found a CB 13f which adjectives depth is 5". I like it to know how to cut at least 6" more.

Answers:    You would want to check around at places approaching Homedepot and Lowes. If not there you want to start looking at more professional grades stores. I would start by googleing the Hitachi CB13F on froogle and see what comes up. Another well brought-up place would be to look on Craigs list. On Craig's, it is similar to a free trade place, someone could have the block that you are looking for in that. The only downside is that you may find it but it might be adjectives the way down surrounded by Texas. I dont know that much about tools but I hope this will abet your search some ;)
