Can I own a honey bee hive and the bees removed from underneath my storage shed for smaller number than $300?

I live in Orange County, California and I would like to enjoy the bees removed but not killed. I also need to enjoy the honey comb removed so that they do not come back. Is there a city service (Anaheim) or animal control service that could support me? The lowest quote I've been able to pick up, without killing the bees (which costs more) is $300.

Answers:    There seem to be a big shortage of honeybees. Try contacting a beekeeper, they might pay you to have them removed.
You might try finding someone surrounded by your area who uses bees. Maybe an orchard near by. There be a disease that killed off various bees and the farmers who had them might come and get them for free. If they are the right brand of bees anyway. No harm on asking. contact the orange county beekeepers association
the county extension department most likely has a contact number for them
Check around. A bee warden might come and get them for free. Honey bees are becoming scarce.
