I have a Dell laptop that heats up fairly a bit, and definitely seems excessively hot to those who aren't used to it. I've be told putting it on an old table with a tile top will any damage the tile or dry out the grout. Is this true/ possible?
Answers: No unless your computer has some serious problems explicitly. Still one would think you'd burn out the circuitry before the skin gets hot enough to impairment the counter top. Tile is used in steam rooms and institutional kitchens where surfaces are regularly steam cleaned.
