My grandmother recently gave me some of her ripened aluminum cookware that she has used for forty years. Because aluminum can be bad for your strength, I can't cook with the pots and pans that she give me. On the other hand, I don't want to just throw them away. Does anyone enjoy any suggestions for ways that I could recycle/use these items so that I will still have them for sentimental value? I be thinking that perhaps someone could melt one or more of these items down and engender something new from it, but I don't know of anyone or any company that offers such services. I'm also thinking that if it comes down to it, I could lately recycle the items. Any suggestions?
Answers: my grandmother had some old pattern iron pans and things that she hung around the top of her kitchen for decoration. you could verbs the pans up if needed and do the same.
You could paint them and generate flower pots out of them.
