What do area mice munch through?

i found a field mouse contained by my house yesterday and was trying to take in for questioning but had no luck in a minute my mum has bought a non-killing trap and in recent times wondering what food should i bait it with.

(were going to release it vertebrae outside when its caught)

Answers:    Usually wheat and things that grow in field. Try some wheat, corn, or barley seeds, or most mice seem to be to like cheese.

Catch him hasty! they breed fast and poo plentifully.
believe it or not mice love peanut butter, i am not sure of the type of non killing trap you own bought if the mouse has to take hold of the bait to close a trap then a short time ago spread it on the devise that releases the trap and it should work, the mice have to stay to get through rather than grab and running. Also if the trap has a hook type of mechinism after bacon rind is also good as they necessitate to tug at it in direct to get it stale.. but i must agree with the answers as in good health, be carefull they breed like crazy and instead of finding one you could find dozens.. well brought-up luck.
