What do you use to hold ants away? I know that peppermint grease works but what else?
Answers: I use bay leaves. I buy them in the spice cubicle at the grocery store. I have them in my cabinet (especially under the sinks since ants are attracted to water) and hidden contained by corners, drawers, closets, etc all around my house. They work really well & aren't toxic.
I still use ant spray outside, though.around the window & doors, on the patio & in the garage. If the ants obtain past that & into the house the bayleaves will get em! lol
Here contained by Australia we use the oil of any citrus - lemon is first, then red, grapefruit. We also use borax to stop them coming into the house. Eucalyptus oil might work in other countries, but not here. We never use commercial preparations, as they mostly contain poisons. Cinnomin works excellent!
