What is a dutiful length of bungee cord for tying a 42 inch bundle?
Answers: i wouldn't use a bungee at all. use a regular piece of rope. on on appendage tie a bowline knot. next go around the bundle. when you bring back to the bowline go through it and reverse direction. after you reverse direction put a partly hitch on a bight somewhere about in the middle around the bundle. pass the bitter cessation through the half hitch and reverse direction again. immediately you have created a uncomplicated mechanical pre-eminence setup. pull final the other way and support the bitter end beside a couple quick release knot. you can pull the rope incredibly tight with this setup and in that is no danger of the rope departure and hitting you as a bungee can. also with the fast release knots at the back it is easy to loosen. i enjoy several ropes with bowlines already tied within them just for this purpose. prompt easy and tolerable.
